Visite de l’AFE: Day 5 June 9th la Nouvelle Ville
The New Town is the area of Edinburgh that was constructed after the Union of the Parliaments in 1707. The visit to the Georgian House was followed by a walk to the Portrait Gallery. Lunch was served at the Sheepheid Inn, the oldest remaining Pub in Scotland and the one recently visited by the Queen!
The rest of the afternoon was spent at the Botanic Gardens where, once again, the sun was shining.
